Patients and Customers,
We understand Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a significant concern for our community, nation and world at this time. Treasure Coast Eye Associates considers the health and safety of our community as a top priority.
To ensure the health of our patients, customers and staff members, we are implementing the following policies, procedures and guidelines:
--All patients and customers will be REQUIRED to use hand sanitizer upon their arrival to our office. We are encouraging the same protocol before leaving our office.
--If you (or someone close to you) are experiencing any fever, cold, or flu-like symptoms, or shortness of breath within the last 48 hours, please do not visit our office. Instead, call us to reschedule at a later date.
--Symptoms of the Coronavirus include: Dry Cough, Fever or Chills, Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing, Muscle pain (aches) or Body Weakness, Fatigue, Nausea or Vomiting.
--If you or someone you have been in contact with has traveled internationally within the past 2 weeks, please call to reschedule your appointment for after that time period.
--Please limit the number of adults, children or caregivers in attendance to your appointment to one (1). Make sure anyone who is accompanying you is not experiencing the above symptoms.
--Please reschedule all children under the age of 13 for an appointment after April 1st.
--We have modified our waiting room by reducing chairs to encourage social distancing. If we start to get crowded we may ask you to wait in your vehicle until your name is called.
--We are increasing our strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols. All counters, surfaces, exam rooms, frame boards and sinks are being disinfected regularly.
--Treasure Coast Eye Associates will be waiving all late cancellation fees, no questions asked, for the foreseeable future.
--Treasure Coast Eye Associates reserves the right to ask anyone exhibiting symptoms to leave the office and reschedule the appointment, without penalty and at no cost to the patient.
--Please be patient if we appear short staffed as we are not allowing any employees to come to work if they feel ill until they have seen a doctor and are cleared.
--If you have an ocular emergency, but you have symptoms (or may have been exposed to Coronavirus) or have traveled recently, please call and alert us BEFORE visiting the office. Dr. Roselli or Dr. Robinson will contact you and discuss treatment options.
--We are following Center for Disease Control (CDC), Florida Department of Health and Indian River County guidelines and recommendations for healthcare facilities and small businesses.
THANK YOU in advance for your understanding, patience and help in keeping our community safe and healthy. Be well, wash your hands often, limit the times you touch your face and eyes with those clean hands, and practice social distancing when possible.
